I believe in a hands on approach and realize your time is valuable. Given a set criteria I will find the ideal property for you. It would not be unusual for me to spend the day previewing properties that I feel fit your requirements, and weeding out the ones that you would not find desirable.
Your time is valuable and I treat it as such.
Sold a home in 2006 in Lenado, Snowmass Village, CO 81654. Started working with Nikki 14 years ago in Aspen CO. Bought and sold many properties and always did excep tionally well with her guidance. The first property my wife and I looked at was shown to us on horseback since the property was so expansive, she won me over at that point and I have been with her ever since. We are now looking for a vineyard in VA and would never consider working with anyone else.
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $175K in Barboursville, VA. I'm a first time home buyer. I initially went with the first realtor that contacted me after I expressed interest in a property. After that didn't work out, I contacted Nicole. The difference between my experience with Nicole and the previous realtor was night and day. She understood exactly what we were looking for, and now we're just days away from closing on our dream house. This house was initially out of our price range, but Nicole made it happen. If I ever buy or sell another home, I won't work with anyone else. Thanks, Nicole!

Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $500K in Keswick, VA. When my wife and I began searching for homes, we were fortunate enough to find Nikki. We both wanted someone knowledgeable, honest, and accessible if we had questions and she above and beyond exceeded our expectations. I literally cannot say enough good things about Nikki and the way she conducts herself. After we found the house we wanted, she helped us put our current home on the market. Due in large part to her amazing description and spot on advertising, we had an offer in our home a mere 3 weeks after putting it on the market. THREE WEEKS! I cannot even begin to imagine going through our experience in both trying to sell our current home and purchase our new home with anyone other then Nikki. She has followed up with us multiple times as well since our sale and purchase has gone through. My wife and I have agreed that in the future if we need to purchase or sell ANY real estate in central Virginia, Nikki will be our one and only call.
Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $700K in Charlottesville, VA. I feel so lucky to have found Nikki! She was recommended to me by a close family friend. Nikki was on top of everything during the process of selling my home. I was living in Ohio while my house was on the market. I was worried I would not feel comfortable during the process being so far away. However, I did not have to worry about a thing, Nikki thought of everything! She went above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions. I often found myself thinking of Nikki as an old trusted friend rather than a realtor I had just met! I would recommend anyone buying or selling their house to get in touch with Nikki, She will eliminate stress from the entire process. She is knowledgeable, hard working, and very easy to work with.
Sold a home in 2014 in Barboursville, VA. Nikki is extremely proactive in every aspect of selling. She got us a full price offer within two weeks where other homes in the area were taking 6+ months to sell. We are sooo glad we chose her as our agent! I can't express how highly I recommend her.
Bought a Condo home in 2015 for approximately $150K in Charlottesville, VA. This was my first time buying a home, and Nikki was the reason why I'm now a homeowner. From the early stages of house hunting, she was very patient with me and explained all the steps involved and things to watch out for. She also has a great personality, which made house-hunting enjoyable. I had so many questions and uncertainties throughout the process, but she was very assuring and knowledgeable about the different areas in Charlottesville, and worked with my specific requests and limitations. She negotiated a great deal for me and pointed me to the right people to secure a loan and get the process done. And when things got complicated beyond our control during the home buying process, she remained optimistic and went beyond all expectations to see me into my first home. I highly recommend Nikki as a realtor, especially for first-time home buyers! She's a sure winner in the home buying process!
Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $425K in Charlottesville, VA. Nikki Lewis was great to work with. I lived 2 1/2 hours away from the location in wh ich I wanted to purchase a home, and she made this logistically challenging scenario so easy! She was helpful and knowledgeable in every step of the process. I really felt that she had my best interests at heart the whole time.
Sold a home in 2015. Nikki is beautiful i nside and out. She works tirelessly towards your goal. Nikki is extremely knowledgeable, researches and finds answers to your questions quickly. She is very honest and upfront, no game playing, and always had my best interests at heart. Nikki offered her own help and resources to help me develop, improve and maintain my home when it was for sale. I also found her to be extremely creative in numerous ways when approaching the sale of my home. She always came up with different and unique ways to market my home and to bring an offer to fruition. She always put my welfare above hers , held all negotiations close to her heart and for all these reasons she is the best in my book!
Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $200K in Charlottesville, VA. Ms. Lewis, Nikki, was committed from the very start. She made connections easy, reliably showed up on time for multiple walk-throughs of the house and had my back when negotiating with the listing agent. She coordinated house inspection, loan company and closing company and had multiple options available. Nikki was responsive by text, e-mail and on the phone; enthusiastic, caring and made the entire experience less stressful and sometimes even fun. I could not have been luckier and will recommend her to anybody in our town. She is special in the best of ways!
My wife and I recently retired and moved from Connecticut to the Charlottesville area. We were extremely fortunate to have Nikki Lewis working with us to find our new home. I've had the opportunity to work with many real estate agents personally and professionally as an attorney. I could not have been more impressed or more satisfied with Nikki's efforts on our behalf. She was diligent, thorough, knowledgeable, responsive and efficient. She helped us negotiate a purchase agreement that we were very happy with. At the same time she was always pleasant and personable. Not only were we glad she was our agent, we were glad to have her as our first 'new friend' in Virginia.
Nikki helped us buy our current home and buy and sell our former home. She was by our side and protected our interests at every stage. She's got a great sense of the value of property in this area. She helped us negotiate an excellent price for our new house and priced our old house so well that it was under contract within two weeks at just under our asking price. We are retired military and have bought and sold at least six houses. When we first moved to this area, Nikki was instrumental in helping us find a house we loved in one day, as we only had one day to come down and look. I recommended Nikki to our former neighbor, and she guided him through the process. She was able to help them get their house ready and under contract pretty quickly too. I would go to Nikki and send anyone interested in buying or selling to Nikki in a heartbeat without question.
Our property (677 Starfield Dr. Keswick, VA) was on the market for a LONG time and was not marketed well at all with the previous agent/agency before we switched agencies and chose Nikki to be our real estate agent. What impressed us the most about Nikki was her sense of confidence, attitude and positive energy in assuring us that the property would sell in a short period of time. Nikki was so proactive from day 1 in scheduling a professional photographer and suggesting great ideas in redecorating our house and placing it back in the market so efficiently. I have sold 4 homes in the past 27 years and I can say with ALL confidence that Nikki has been by far the BEST and most delightful real estate agent that I have ever worked with! She is extremely knowledgeable, responsive, understanding, encouraging, and punctual. She takes ALL measures to ensure that a property is professionally represented, marketed, and sold. Nikki's efforts were key not only during the listing process but also during the negotiation and closing process to ensure that the property changed ownership in the smoothest way. The selling process is always stressful and time consuming. Nikki's efforts made the selling process a whole lot easier for us. She was always available to help even in cases when we could not be there (out of town). My wife tells me (and I agree with her) that Nikki was an angel who came to our lives to help us when we had little hope in selling our house! Finding a nice real estate agent has always been a difficult task for us. That's why it is so important to choose the right person because not all real estate agents are this capable, dedicated, and delightful. We will always be grateful for Nikki's efforts and will not hesitate to work with her again in the future.

We highly recommend Nikki Lewis for real estate transactions in our area. We have had great experiences with her on both the buying and the selling sides. Each transaction presented some negotiation challenges at several stages of the process, and Nikki went above and beyond the average real estate agent in numerous ways to assist us in completing the sales. When we were purchasing our current home we faced sellers who had purchased at the top of the market and were not initially prepared to sell their property for a loss. Nikki painstakingly assisted us in analyzing the comps and was able to tactfully work with the seller's agent to arrive at a price that was fair to both parties. The home had some water damage in the basement, and Nikki did a masterful job helping us sort out the information from two contractors who had very different diagnoses and remedies for the problem. She connected us with a reputable and fairly priced contractor who performed a thorough assessment, including running a fiber optic scope through the downspouts and drainage pipes. When we chose the less expensive remedy of a simple gutter and downspout correction (vs a sump pump) we were able to choose with confidence. After 8 months of ownership and some very heavy rain and snow the remedy has proven effective and the basement is perfectly dry! When we were selling our previous home we were faced with a buyer who was determined to get a rock-bottom bargain price on a nearly mint condition home. Although his style of negotiating was irritating in some respects, Nikki was able to see past that and patiently work through the back and forth of the negotiation process with good intuition as to when the counter offers should be informal, verbal ones and when to put it in writing. There were multiple bumps in the road after the initial contract, and Nikki worked diligently to overcome each one. When the appraisal report required amending she coordinated that. When the inspection resulted in the need for some minor repair work, she helped us get that done. When the homeowner's association was slow to provide needed documents, Nikki continued to follow up with them until it was done. Her most heroic moment came in the last 2 days before closing on the sale of our home. Without our suggesting it she took it upon herself to go in and check out the house (which was vacant) 2 days before the last scheduled walk-through and do some last minute tidying. She ended up discovering water dripping from 2 ceiling fans, which as it turned out had resulted from roof damage caused by a huge snow storm that week. Not only did Nikki arrange to have the repairs completed in less than 48 hrs, she also took photos and coordinated with the homeowner's insurance company to get us reimbursement for the cost. Who does that? We were amazed and very grateful. It's so refreshing to work with a professional who takes her job seriously and also maintains a cheerful attitude through challenging moments. It's even better when she always replies extremely promptly to any emails or texts and goes way beyond her fair share of work to get a sale wrapped up. It has been a true pleasure working with Nikki
